To celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day, Herrington on the Bay is announcing a wedding giveaway contest. One deserving couple will win a complete wedding at Herrington on the Bay to be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 – to enter, simply tell us how you are making the world a better place. The total package is valued at more than $45,000. Complete entry details below.
The contest winner will receive a complete wedding for up to 150 guests at Herrington on the Bay on Saturday, August 22, 2020. The wedding ceremony will be held in the Herring Bay Garden, overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. The evening reception will be held at the Herrington Yacht Club, a two-story, historic building with hardwood floors, balcony and crystal chandelier.
The prize includes all rental fees, farm-to-table buffet dinner and cocktail menu with an open bar for 150 guests. Tables, chairs, linen, china, service staff, personal planning team and day-of coordinator, dance floor, custom colored uplighting, flat screen tv for photos, and private patio with a fire pit and lounge furniture. Herrington on the Bay will pay Maryland taxes and labor costs on the venue, food and beverages.
In addition to the wedding venue and catering, Herrington is joined by several local businesses who are generously donating goods and services to make this dream prize possible.

Questions?This contest is open to any couple who are residents of the United States and age 18 years or older. Employees of Herrington on the Bay and affiliates, and members of their immediate families are not eligible.
All eligible entrants can enter for a chance to win by submitting a 30-second video explaining how they are making the world a better place, along with their contact information to Herrington on the Bay.

Entries will be accepted between 12:00 am EST February 17, 2020 and 11:59 pm EST March 17, 2020. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. All entries become the property of Herrington on the Bay.
All expenses paid wedding at Herrington on the Bay for up to 150 guests, including ceremony site and rental fee for Saturday, August 22, 2020, cocktail and dinner menu, open bar, tables, chairs, linens, china, service staff, personal planning team and day of coordinator, dance floor, custom colored up lighting, flat screen tv for photos, and a private patio with a fire pit and lounge furniture. Maryland taxes and labor costs included. The top ten entries, as selected by the staff of Herrington on the Bay will be posted to Herrington on the Bay’s Facebook and Instagram. The winner will be selected by popular vote as determined by the cumulative number of likes on their entry posted to Herrington on the Bay’s official Facebook and Instagram accounts between March 18 and April 1, 2020.
Contest winner will be notified by phone, email or social media. If a winner is unreachable after two (2) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If Herrington on the Bay cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.
The contest winner will be publicly announced on April 2, 2020 at herringtononthebay.com.

All contest entrants agree to release Herrington on the Bay and its partners and affiliates from any and all claims and liability with respect to and in any way arising from participating in this contest, accepting of any prize(s), or technical, hardware, software or other failures of any kind.

Candidates will be disqualified from the contest if fraudulent voting activity is discovered. Only votes from verified Facebook and Instagram users will be accepted. Deceptive techniques such as robot voting, proxy voting or any automated software will not be tolerated.
Taxes are the sole responsibility of winners. All winnings are subject to applicable state, local and federal tax.

This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
